A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Housing Rehabilitation Services All questions must be typewritten and emailed to Florencie Underwood & Jolanda Green at procurementservices@jccal.org The Jefferson County Commission (the County) Department of Community Services is seeking general contractors who are in compliance with Alabama Code 34-14A1, et seq to provide rehabilitation of residential dwellings throughout Jefferson County. There are currently nine (9) cases scheduled for rehabilitation. The Work Writeup for each is in the Jefferson County Housing Rehabilitation Required Forms section of this solicitation beginning on page 24. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per case. The resulting contract will be between the homeowner and the Successful Contractor with work warranted for one year. At the completion of the project, homeowners will be encouraged to complete a survey to evaluate the work performed.
