Installation of approximately 48 LF of 8-inch DIP sewer pipe, 203 LF of 8-inch PVC sewer pipe, 254 LF of 15-inch PVC sewer pipe, two (2) 4-foot dia. manholes, two (2) 6-foot dia. doghouse manholes, removal of approximately 25 LF of 8-inch concrete encased sewer pipe and approximately 50 LF of 15-inch VCP. Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act" - Act No. 3 of l978 as amended, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442) Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania wage laws, and bids shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage predetermination is included in the Project Manual. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bonds and payment in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. All contractors on this Project are required to ensure that employees and applicants will not be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital status or national origins; and, that the statutes and regulations of federal and state law regarding nondiscrimination are met. Contractors and subcontractors are required to furnish records to ascertain compliance with the Nondiscrimination Clause. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive as an informality any, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids; and to reject any or all Bids.
