Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Freeport, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Scope of work includes the replacement of the existing locker rooms at Freeport Field House. We will be replacing existing doors/hardware/frames, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, bathroom finishes (wall & floor tile), locker room floor finishes & HVAC system. The existing lockers and locker bases will be removed and replaced. There will be limited asbestos & lead abatement. The project also includes limited brick/lintel repair. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the FREEPORT UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid, see Instructions for Bidders section. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for fortyfive (45) days after the formal bid opening. ABBREVIATED SUMMARY OF CONTRACT G WORK - LOCKER RM RENOVATION A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. Each Contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Architect/Engineer, the work of their contract with the work by others. B. This following abbreviated summary is provided in order to briefly describe the work covered by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. It is not all inclusive of the work under the Contract. C. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Removals of existing wall tile, floor tile, ceiling finishes, toilet accessories and plumbing fixtures in toilet rooms 2. Installation of new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, toilet accessories and plumbing fixtures as indicated 3. New LED light fixtures as indicated 4. Removal of existing components as noted. 5. Wiring connections to all electrical equipment (including equipment furnished by others). 6. Mechanical system upgrade 7. Testing and balancing of systems 8. New exhaust fans, supports, and associated equipment. 9. Brick veneer repointing and replacement 10. Replace plumbing fixtures as indicated 11. Remove and replace existing doors as indicate 12. Replace existing perimeter fence & gates in kind 13. Project closeout submittals.
