Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Removal and Replacement of portion of CMU Wall and exterior brick facade at Kennedy High School. Removal and replacement of portion of existing brick veneer between the bottom of a louver and the top of the double exit door to replace racked bricks. Remove and replace existing caulking of exterior vertical mortar joint crack, along inside southwest corner, loose mortar removal in the vertical inside corner; the vertical mortar joint repointed and waterproof flexible sealer applied to the vertical mortar joint. The portions of the interior masonry block along the west wall, at the southwest corner, to be replaced with new and that corner portion re-built. Grout fill solid the masonry cores at the corner portion of rebuilt masonry wall for full height of wall. Provide galvanized horizonal masonry ties vertically spaced 16" OC max. Refer to attached report. Approximately 10'x10' of CMU wall/brick facade to be replaced. All work MUST be completed by November 27, 2024. Question Deadline 10/31/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions must be posted through electronically. Responses will be issued by us via an Addendum no later than November 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
