Site work for a civil project in Labrador City, Newfoundland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and pipeline.
Construction of a transmission main to connect the Churchill Falls Terminal Station 1 to a new terminal station located near Flora Lake. TIMELINE: Phase 1 of the feasibility study is complete. Subsequent studies including the completion of geotechnical field investigations and front end engineering design (FEED); completion anticipated late 2026/early 2027. EPCM RFP is anticipated Q4 2026, pending approvals. Construction to be tendered in several packages, beginning Q2 2027, pending approvals. Further update may be confirmed late 2026/early 2027. Note. The Federal Government has just announced that it is partnering with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador through a series of new investments that were absent from the previous 2024 MOU initiative to fund the currently developed projects including the construction of this project..
