Project - the Work Shall Consist of Construction of Concrete Recreational Trail and Sidewalk. This Project Extends From the Intersection of Marcella Street and Kimberly Avenue to the Intersection of Kennedy Avenue and Cobblestone Lane. The Total Project Length is 1.0 Miles. This is a Federally Funded Project and Will Consist of the Following Approximate Quantities: o 2,025 C.y. Excavation o 7,315 S.y. Base Aggregate Dense, 1-1/4 Inch (6 Inch Thickness) o 51,450 S.f. Concrete Sidewalk 5 Inch With Microfiber Reinforcement o 250 L.f. Concrete Curb and Gutter, 30 Inch o 2,110 L.f. Fence Chain Link Salvaged 5 Feet o 11,170 S.y. Restoration o 3,013 L.f. Pavement Marking Bid Security - No Bid Shall Be Received Unless Accompanied by a Certified Check or Satisfactory Bid Bond Payable to the Village of Kimberly in an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Maximum Bid as A Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute and File the Contract, Performance/ Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as Required by the Contract Documents, Within 15-days After the Notice of Award. Bid Rejection - the Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Any Informalities In Bidding or to Accept the Bid or Bids Which Best Serves the Interests of the Village of Kimberly. Withdrawal of Bids - No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of 120-days After the Scheduled Opening Without the Consent of the Owner.
