As of July 16, 2025, this project is on hold. It is currently in the conceptual phase and a timeline for when or if it will move forward has not yet been established. The Town of Huntersville seeks proposals for commercial development of a pad-ready site in downtown Huntersville, adjacent to the existing Huntersville Town Center. LOCATION: The property is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Gilead and Old Statesville Road, surrounding the existing Town Center/Discovery Place Kids building and associated parking deck. This opportunity is located in downtown Huntersville at the corner of two of the town's busiest roads, carrying both local and regional traffic. Its roughly 3/4 of a mile east from Exit 23 off I-77.
