This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested respondents; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified respondents to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire upon award of a contract in Phase Two and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Renovation and expansion of the Vancott Cottage Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area (PEPNWA) located on federal land and subject to federal regulations. The Contractor shall successfully obtain all required permits and provide all necessary labour, materials, and equipment required to complete the renovation and expansion of the Vancott Cottage Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area, located in Milford, Ontario K0K 2P0 as outlined in the engineering specifications and drawings that will be released to those qualified to complete Phase 2. There will be a mandatory site visit during the second phase of the tender. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $450,000.00 and $550,000.00 (taxes excluded).
