Question Deadline 11/04/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes The Homelessness Strategies and Solutions Department (HSSD) is the department of the City that oversees and develops homelessness programs and services. HSSD plans, develops, and oversees a comprehensive network of city-wide programs that provide immediate assistance and long-term solutions to meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness in the City. HSSD operates comprehensive network of city-wide programs that reflect a balance between providing immediate assistance and long-term solutions that meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness. As part of the City's comprehensive approach to address homelessness, the City is seeking a contractor, or multiple contractors, who will operate the Safe Parking programs (Program) for the City located on City-owned property based on the following three models: 24 hours, Overnight Only, and Camper Trailers. The Program provides unhoused individuals living out of their vehicle a safe place to sleep overnight and access critical assistance necessary for to secure stable housing. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking proposals for its Program based on three Program models described in this RFP for existing sites and future sites located on City-owned property. Proposers may respond to one or multiple Program models. If proposing for multiple Program models, separate program plans must be submitted. It is anticipated multiple proposers may be selected for this RFP based on each Program model and each site location. Being selected for this RFP does not entitle any selected proposer to any future site locations under the Program for the model they are awarded.
