Estimated Bid Value $12,600,000.00 License Requirements A or (C24 and C42) Scope of Services The linear footage of water pipes in this project consists of replacing approximately 4,000 linear feet (LF) of existing 6-, 8-, 12-, and 16-inch asbestos cement (AC) water mains with new 8-, 12-, and 16-inch PVC pipes. Abandonment of 461 LF of existing 12-inch AC water mains. The work also includes the replacement of all associated water services, fire hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances. The linear footage of sewer pipes in this project consists of replacing approximately 6,975 LF of existing 6-, 8-, 10-, 12-, and 15-inch vitrified clay (VC) sewer mains with new 8-, 10-, 12-, 15-, and 18-inch PVC pipes. Rehabilitation of 360 LF of existing 6-inch VC sewer mains and the abandonment of 2,321 LF of existing VC and PVC sewer mains. The work includes the replacement and replumbing of all associated sewer laterals, sewer lateral cleanouts, manholes, cleanouts, and other appurtenances. Construction will include approximately 60 curb ramps and 6 alley aprons. Due to locations and existing conditions, some of these curb ramps may require design work. The DCE shall make the final decision on whether design work and details are needed for the project to ensure the curb ramps are constructed appropriately by the Contractor. Affected driveways are also required to be replaced to current standards. This project is affected by a Holiday Shopping Moratorium between Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day. It affects the following areas: 11th Ave between G St and Island Ave in addition to the intersection at B St and Park Bl.
