A bid bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount is to be enclosed with the proposal at the time of submittal. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following services: o RoofInspection: Conduct a thorough inspection to assess current roof conditions before replacement. o Removal: Safely remove the 2 layers of existing shingle roofing and existing gutter system. o Preparation: Prepare the roofsurface for new installation. o Installation: Install new roofing over the existing metal roof. Details will be listed below under each building. o Inspection and Quality Assurance: Ensure that the new roofmeets all quality standards and codes. o Cleanup: Remove all debris and clean up the worksite. Shingle Façade o Remove 2 layers ofthe existing shingle roofing. o Furnish and install 25-year CertainTeed landmark shingles over new synthetic underlayment. o Furnish and install new 24-gauge drip edge. Flat Roof at Entrance o Clean the existing roofsurface and remove blisters. o Loose lay Carlisle protection mat over existing roofsurface. o Mechanically attach Carlisle, 60 mil roofsystem. o Furnish and install new 6" gutter and downspouts. o Furnish and install new 24-gauge perimeter cap flashing. Parapet Coping o At roof area between the existing high shingle roof and existing flat roof. o Remove and discard parapet coping. o Furnish and install new 24-gauge parapet coping. High Gymnasium Roof o Loose lay EPS flute fill over metal panels. o Mechanically attach 1" insulation over the flute fill. o Fully adhere Carlisle 60mil TPO roofsystem over insulation. o Remove and discard existing gutter and replace with new 24-gauge box gutter. o Furnish and install new 24-gauge shop fabricated prefinished rake trim.
