Site work and renovation of a civil project in Palouse, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Kamiak Butte Water System Improvements. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished in the Bidding Documents will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (10%) or more of the contract amount. Rejection of Bids: Whitman County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual Bid Opening. All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State. Value: $ 500,000.00 Description: The project generally consists of demolition and reconstruction of well house around existing well head, construction of approximately 2,850 LF of 2" and 1" HDPE water distribution main and piping improvements, construction of booster pump skid system, replacement of control wire up to the reservoir, associated electrical improvements, and surface/trail restoration at the Kamiak Butte County Park Water System. Work expected to begin Spring 2025. Full park closure anticipated for a maximum of 30 calendar days, with limited public access to park features throughout the duration of the project. bid date notes.
