Spartanburg County Fleet Services Building Renovations, Description of Project: Spartanburg County is seeking sealed proposals from qualified vendors to make improvements to our Fleet Services Department. The Proposer who is awarded the contract shall perform and carry out, those services necessary to complete the SPARTANBURG COUNTY FLEET SERVICES BUILDING RENOVATIONS. At a minimum, this work shall include: OFFICES (2,100 SQ FT): o Paint all existing ceiling grid then install new ceiling tiles o Install LVT flooring throughout the office areas including new cove base o Clean and paint all surfaces including doors and trim o Install a backsplash of FRP or stainless behind the handwashing trough o Build a 5' wall with a 3' door in the front hallway for sound purposes SHOP (11,900 SQ FT): o Clean entire area. This will have to be done with rags, cleaners, and wire brushes (vinyl coating on insulation prevents pressure washing) o Paint entire ceiling area with two (2) coats of dryfall paint o Clean all interior walls and roll- up doors and paint with two (2) coats of paint. (Approximately 13,440 SQ FT) MENS RESTROOM: o New commercial half-moon floor activated lavatory o New toilet and urinal o Change out bath partitions o New ceiling tiles and flat panel lights o Resurface ceramic tile floors o Repaint all walls and trim o Rework all dressing areas and showers After award of purchase order, any changes that result in additional cost to Spartanburg County must be submitted in writing to J.J. Wofford at jwofford@spartanburgcounty.org for prior written approval. Do not proceed with any changes until written notification to proceed is in hand.
