Renovation of a detention facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The work includes replacement of five existing air handling unit chilled water coils, heating water coils, supply air fans, associated controls, and modification of existing piping, ductwork and electrical power. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and all alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written in conformance with state law. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law. The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities. The Parish of Caddo shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract between Owner and Contractor is fully executed. Question Deadline 11/08/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, to reach the Architect at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
