UMC Hospital seeks a qualified engineering firm to design a medical gas solution that will ensure compliance with NFPA 101 20212, NFPA 99 2012 as well as current authorities having jurisdiction, required codes, standards and regulations. The selected firm will provide a comprehensive design solution and a construction plan for the installation of the required valves giving rooms the capacity to isolate individually. It is key that the proposed management plan under the RFQ provides a comprehensive narrative detailing the approach to achieve a constructible system while minimizing the impact to the current operational med gas.
