Site work and renovation of a civil project in Versailles, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of the Versailles Generators - Water Treatment Plant and Raw Water Pump For the construction of the versailles Generators - Water treatment Plant and raw Water Pump station, consisting of the installation of a 4,160-volt, 3-phase, 1,500kW generator, medium voltage automatic transfer switch, power distribution equipment (600-volt and less), concrete pad/foundation, access platform, conduit and wiring (power/control/ monitoring) at the Water Treatment Plant and installation of a 4,160-volt, 3-phase, 2,000kW generator, medium voltage automatic transfer switch, power distribution equipment (600-volt and less), concrete pad/foundation, access platform, handrails (at Raw Water Pump Station structure), conduit and wiring (power/control/monitoring), and site security fencing modifications at the Raw Water Pump Station, together with all related work as specified and shown on the drawings, Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the City of Versailles within ten (10) days after the time he has been notified of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Versailles as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The City of Versailles reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
