Medical Education Research Facility - Renovate Room 2187 Design Professional: Invision Architecture Colton Howell 900 Mulberry Street Des Moines, IA 50309 Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Medical Education Research Facility, Second Floor, 375 Newton Road, Iowa City, IA 52246. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated October 25, 2024. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work: 1) Project consists of renovation of the current Instructional Lab in Room 2187 and reconfiguration of Room 2185 and 2181 to create a new office suite. Project will remove existing wall and door into Instructional Lab area and install a new wall with door further to the south. The Instructional Lab will be divided to accommodate three new offices. Scope includes mechanical equipment and thermostats in each office. 2) Alternates: None. 3) Allowances: None 4) Unit Prices: None. e. Work by Owner: 1) Testing and Balancing. 2) Furniture selection and procurement. 3) Final keying. f. Work Sequence: Not Applicable
