The City of Pensacola is requesting sealed statements of interest and qualifications from professional firms experienced in in Professional Construction Management at Risk Services for the construction of the Terminal Building Expansion Project at Pensacola International Airport. SCOPE OF WORK It is the intent of this solicitation to select a construction management firm to provide preconstruction and at-risk construction management services for the construction of the Terminal Building Expansion Project at Pensacola International Airport. The Airport seeks to construct a new Security Screening Check Point, new Concourse, and associated airfield and landside civil engineering projects to connect the new facility to existing infrastructure. Work will include various activities conducted within the Security Identification Display Area and the Sterile areas of the Airport, and the construction management firm will be required to meet clearance requirements of the Transportation Security Administration to obtain and maintain Airport badges. The OUTER FACE of the sealed submittal package shall identify the respondent, the RFQ title, and the RFQ number (whether hand-delivered, mailed, or via UPS/FedEx or other courier service). Submittals received after the closing time will not be accepted. Multiple submittals from the same entity will not be accepted. After the submittal deadline those submittals received will be opened and publicly acknowledged. Interested parties may attend. Project Funding and Ancillary Projects This project is anticipated to be funded through a number of grants agencies, potentially including the State of Florida, the Federal Aviation Administration, and others. The CMAR must adhere to all grant requirements, potentially including pay scales and documentation that comply with the Davis Bacon Act. Total anticipated funding available for the Project construction activities is $95,000,000. This includes all costs and fees associated with construction, including permitting, commissioning, CEI services, etc. This funding may vary significantly, depending on final design and available funding. Schedule It is anticipated that the Design Team will complete a Statement of Probable Cost in October 2024. Concurrently, the Design Team is developing a Security Screening Checkpoint design that is envisioned for construction to begin in June 2025, with completion in June 2026.
