The District will accept only written questions from all potential bidders in accordance with the procedure outlined in this RFB. All questions are to be submitted in writing via e-mail to Rick Dudzenski, Director of Operations at rdudzenski@mohawk.k12.pa.us. All questions must be submitted no later than 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 Bidders may not submit more than one proposal. The Mohawk Area School District may reject any or all proposals or waive any informalities in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with all state and federal guidelines. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to solicit bid proposals to supply approximately 286 yards of topsoil, grade, and hydroseed to the existing football field on the campus of the Mohawk Area School District 385 Mohawk School Road New Castle, PA 16102 In order to be considered, the bid proposal must be received by the Mohawk Area School District before or at the submission due date and time. Any bid proposal NOT received on time at the location indicated below will be rejected. ALL initial preparation and seeding must be completed no later than December 1st, 2024. Substantial completion with thick grass coverage by June 1, 2025. MASD understands that this is an extremely tight timeline. IF you are unable to complete the project by the deadline, YOU MUST MARK YOUR ESTIMATED TIMELINE IN YOUR BID PACKAGE. Performance bond(s) shall be required of the selected Contractor in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the amount(s) bid. Performance bond(s) shall be issued to the MASD and shall be in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check, U.S. Money Order, or surety bond.
