As of March 17, 2025. This project has been released for bidding. UPMC proposes to renovate a wing of the 5th floor into an inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at the Jameson facility in New Castle, PA. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Construction of an 11-bed Inpatient Behavior Health Unit on the East Wing of the 5th Floor of UPMC Jameson Hospital via grant funding from SWBHM. Scope includes demolition of the existing build-out, construction of new partitions, ceilings, finishes, MEPFP systems, and replacement of an existing AHU with new RTU. All work within patient areas to follow strict anti-ligature requirements. Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed, construction is not expected to start prior to late second quarter 2025. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
