Supply, Delivery and Installation The following are minimum requirements for this project: a. Procurement and installation of forty (38) 5MP Sarix Professional 4 Series Bullet Security Cameras at 271 Kerr Street, Oakville prioritizing coverage of entrances and exits and incorporating eight (8) existing cameras via Genetec approved encoders including all cabling and network switches. b. Procurement and installation of forty-two (42) 5MP Sarix Professional 4 Series Bullet Security Cameras at 4100 Longmoor Drive, Burlington including cabling and network switches as necessary. c. Procurement and installation of eighteen (15) 5MP Sarix Professional 4 Series Bullet Security Cameras at 1150 Dorval Drive, Oakville incorporating fifteen (15) existing analog cameras with Genetec approved IP encoders. d. Procurement and installation of forty (40) 5MP Sarix Professional 4 Series Bullet Security Cameras at 5250 Pinedale Avenue, Burlington. e. All auxiliary components required for mounting each camera is to be included within the Cost Proposal. Mounting hardware will not be specifically listed within this Request for Proposal, but selections must be compatible with the installation areas, and be compatible with the specified cameras within the Scope of Work or proposed alternatives. This includes but is not limited to arms, brackets and junction boxes. f. Procurement and installation of the corresponding Genetec camera licenses necessary to support the respective number of cameras per site g. The cameras are to be sighted to provide maximum observation of the areas noted during the Mandatory Site meetings referenced in section 2.4 of this RFP document. h. Procurement and installation of Cat6A cabling to connect all cameras to the appropriate network switches. i. The installation of Power over Ethernet (POE) of all cameras will be conducted with metal conduit only if the POE runs cannot be run within existing drop-down ceilings. j. Cameras must be installed in a manner that will reduce the likelihood of tampering. k. All cameras are to be integrated into the Genetec Video Management System (VMS). The successful Proponent will work with the Regional Representative to install the Genetec Video Management System onto the provided servers. l. All camera licences and the base Genetec license is to be purchased by the successful Proponent and loaded onto the servers provided by Halton Region. m. All camera installation components that require the use of a lift will be addressed by the successful Proponent. Halton Region will not provide a lift for this work. n. All integrated cameras are to include camera tampering functions through the Genetec VMS and Pelco basic analytics o. All integrated cameras are to include simple motion detection functions through the Genetec VMS and Pelco basic analytics. p. All integrated cameras must store recorded footage for no less than thirty (30) days. q. Where net new systems will be installed at 4100 Longmoor Drive and 5250 Pinedale Avenue, a small desk and/or shelf is to be provided by the Contractor in an ergonomic set up to allow a user to comfortably sit to review footage as approved by the Regional Representative. r.
