Airside Lighting Upgrade project at the Kelowna International Airport. The project includes but is not limited to the following: Upgrade Runway 16 Approach Lighting System to SSALR Upgrade Runway 34 Approach Lighting System to SSALR Replace Runway 16-34 Edge Lighting System Reconfigure Taxiway Edge Lighting System conduit and cabling. Lights have recently been replaced. Replace Runway 16 PAPI System Replace Runway 34 PAPI System Replace approximately 29 illuminated guidance signs Modify airfield lighting control system. TIMELINE: Request for proposal seeking to engage a civil contractor to provide constructability inputs and design engagement services is closed. Preferred proponent is selected. Further update in spring 2026, upon approvals.
