The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. Major items of construction consist of approximately, 980 cubic yards of excavation, rock, 1,376 cubic yards of dense graded aggregate base course pavement, 1,860 tons of hot mix asphalt base course, 925 tons HMA surface course, 753 square yards HMA driveway, 6" thick, 6,672 lineal feet of machine placed asphalt curb, 25 modified type A inlets and other incidental work. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Doc note: between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, beginning on Monday October 28, 2024. Printed copies of the plans, specification, and contract documents may be obtained upon payment of $50.00, said sum not refundable, at the time of request. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Township, will be in the best interest of the Township, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
