Demolition, site work and paving for a civil project in Clermont, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.

The project generally includes the installation of approximately 2,700 LF of 8-inch DIP potable water main, 700 LF of 12-inch PVC potable water main, approximately 400 LF of 12-inch DIP potable water main, and approximately 165 LF of 14-inch high density polyethylene potable water main to be installed via directional drill, abandonment of existing potable wells, demolition of existing private water plant equipment and appurtenances, installation of approximately 900 LF of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer, 900 LF of 4-inch PVC force main, one sanitary sewer pump station with emergency standby diesel pump, removal of existing private wastewater package plant, pavement removal and replacement, installation of valves, hydrants, tapping sleeve, tapping saddles, and miscellaneous appurtenances. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Tetra Tech and the proposed improvements will be awarded and constructed, if award is made, under one Contract. Bids shall be submitted for the Work, which includes the installation of potable water piping, fire hydrants,sanitary sewer piping, sanitary sewer pump station, emergency diesel standby pump, valves, meters, controls, abandonment of existing potable wells, demolition of existing water plant, demolition of existing wastewater plant, site restoration, and all associated appurtenances described in the attached contract documents within the City property and rights of way, and/or any applicable easements. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Tetra Tech, Attn.: Burl Reardon, in writing. Replies considered necessary will be issued through Addenda by mail to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received complete sets of Bidding Documents up to seventy-two (72) hours before bid time. Brief addenda may be issued between seventy-two (72) hours and twenty-four (24) hours before bid time by facsimile to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received complete sets of Bidding Documents only. Questions received less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
