Reference Number : 0000366300 The Township of Robbinsville is proposing to reconstruct Hankins Road not only due to aged pavement conditions but also to increase driver safety. The roadway currently contains narrow (9 ft. wide) lanes, roadside swales, significant curvature, no shoulders, and utility poles close to the lanes. Hankins Road has also seen a substantial increase in traffic in recent years, partially due to the BAPS temple and several newer housing communities. The limits of work for this Project are generally from Bear Brook to Sienna Drive. This RFP generally seeks to engage several professions to provide all services as required to survey the road and adjacent areas, identify and locate wetlands and regulated areas, design the roadway improvements to NJDOT and AASHTO standards, coordinate with utility providers, provide technical specifications, NJ Moves funding tasks, provide plans, surveys, metes/bounds for property acquisition, secure all permits, obtain and award bids, and provide full construction administration. Hankins Road is not anticipated to be fully closed during construction.
