This contract contains new requirements for NY Wicks Law. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % The intent of the "WORK BY OTHERS" portion of the Project Summary section is to advise the prospective Bidder of any anticipated work to be done by others for informational and coordination purposes. The information is furnished solely for the convenience of the Contractor, without any warranty expressed or implied as to its accuracy or completeness. As documented on the Electrical Drawings, Rochester Gas & Electric will provide proposed 227/480V, pad mounted RG&E Transformer. Primary side connections, conduit, conductors shall be provided by RG&E. RG&E owned MV Switch and pad, MV switch, connections, conduits, conductors, underground installation will be provided by RG&E The City has a Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) policy that ensures participation of Minority and Women-owned businesses on City public works projects. Ordinance 2018-54 established a goal, effective July 1, 2018, that MWBE's will receive 30% of the aggregate total annual contract awards for City public works contracts over $10,000, with the goal for minority owned businesses (M) being 20% and women owned businesses (W) being 10%.
