Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The procurement of a Qualified Low Bid Construction Contract will support the expansion of the multimodal transportation system through the implementation of projects identified in the following programs: Vision Zero, SA Bikes to include the Bike Network Plan, and Quiet Zones. Key goals for these projects are to improve safety, connectivity, and accessibility for all users by expanding the bicycle network, reducing the occurrence of fatalities and serious injuries along our roadways using proven safety countermeasures, creating, and maintaining the City's Quiet Zones and using low impact development (LID) when possible. Elements of the construction contract include but are not limited to sidewalks, on and off-street bicycle improvements, paving, flatwork, medians, signage, pavement markings, rain gardens, vegetation, and other stormwater improvements. Projects will be developed utilizing the following resources and guides: National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) Design Guides including the Urban Street Design Guide and Urban Bikeway Design Guide as well as the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) Proven Safety Countermeasure initiative and the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD).
