Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System to install two (2) 48" x 16" PCCP wet taps on C-301 water main located within SAWS network. The proposal shall include the taps, saddles, and services, as well as two (2) blind flanges with appropriate hardware. The firm will be responsible for providing and installing all hardware required, unless otherwise noted in the Scope of Services below. The wet taps will be used as insertion and extraction points for pipeline inspection services provided by third-party (Pure Technologies) before the end of year for the O'Connor Rd 48" Water Main Wet Taps Project. A pre-bid meeting will not be required for this project. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration via WebEx. If Bidders intend to submit bids electronically, Bidders will need to submit a request by November 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM (CST) to receive access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to Janie.Powell@saws.org. Bidder's email requesting access to the FTP site shall provide the legal name of Bidder's company and the intended recipient's email address and phone number.
