Town of Cicero, Outagamie County, Wisconsin that it will accept sealed bids for crack sealing. The Town of Cicero board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept bids to be in the best interest of the Town. Bids may not be awarded at time of bid opening. Bids will be publicly opened at the monthly board meeting at the above time and date at the Cicero Town Ha Town of Cicero is accepting proposals for crack sealing of town roads. Crack sealing shall be done during dry conditions. Cracks shall be routed to a depth of not less than 1/2 inch and a width of not less than 1/2 inch with debris blown from cracks. All cracks shall be over banded for maximum sealing. Proposals shall be priced and submitted on a price per pound of tar used to complete the crack sealing according to Spec. The estimated total the Town is looking to spend is around $40,000. Material used will be a hot rubberized joint sealant and meet federal specs ASTM D3405 or equivalent material. Some roads listed were previously crack sealed, any previous filled cracks that need additional tar will be filled without routing. Roads listed below will be considered for crack sealing. All roads will be marked with C.S. at start and stop points. All roads may not be crack filled dependent on proposal pricing.
