Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope. New contractors with the county are required to submit a letter of insurability agreeing to these requirements. Escambia County may award Line item by Line item for emergency items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services. Question Submission Deadline:November 13, 2024, 1:00pm Rehabilitation of an owner-occupied single-family residence to make homes safe and sanitary within the provisions of federal and state laws, county ordinances and the CDBG repair program. Rehabilitation of the home will include the following tasks as outlined below. If additional tasks beyond those included in the bid are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated for additional tasks pending written approval from the county. .ROOFING: Remove existing roof covering the decking and replace any deteriorated or damaged decking with like, kind and quality of existing materials. Repair or replace any damaged roof framing to include rafter tails, rafters, and barge rafters. Refasten and certify decking attachment. Install a peel and stick underlayment water barrier. Replace the existing drip edge with a new metal drip edge. Install 30-year shingle roof on main roof as per manufacturer's specifications. Install a self-adhering modified bitumen roof system to any low sloped areas. Install new slant-back vents. Replace gas vent caps and flashing as required. Replace all boots with new lead or EPDM and metal boots. Install new shingle over ridge vent. All work is to be completed as per Escambia County Building Code. Budget 200 square feet of decking replacement. Trim any trees over hanging roof to clear roof by approximately 10' and remove all debris from site. Roof total $____________ 2.FASCIA AND SOFFIT: Replace any rotten or damage fascia and soffit. Use standard wood materials for the fascia and a vented vinyl soffit. Caulk and paint to match as close as possible to the existing the exterior finishes. Fascia and Soffit total $_________________ 3.FRAMING: Replace the damaged or rotten framing at the carport. Framing total $___ This home was built prior to 1978 and therefore is a "target property" under the EPA's RRP Rule, as some painted surfaces may be disturbed. Therefore, the implementation of "safe work practices" is required along with submittal by the RRP contractor of "renovation recordkeeping checklist" form. Federal funds (Escambia County CDBG) are being used to renovate this property. The contract will only be awarded to an EPA Certified Renovation firm. A copy of the firm's certification must be submitted prior to entering into a contract with the said contractor. This home was built prior to 1978 and therefore is a "target property" under the EPA's RRP Rule, as some painted surfaces may be disturbed. Therefore, the implementation of "safe work practices" is required along with submittal by the RRP contractor of "renovation recordkeeping checklist" form. Federal funds (Escambia County CDBG) are being used to renovate this property. The contract will only be awarded to an EPA Certified Renovation firm.
