Question Deadline 11/01/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes, All questions must be uploaded to the online. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted. The DLBA does not guarantee a response to questions submitted after the question deadline. Furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies and equipment to perform painting services in the lobby and conference room of the Detroit Land Bank Authority located at 500 Griswold St., Detroit, MI, Suite 1200. Services provided shall include all necessary tasks to complete the following: Painting of 12th floor lobby area attached conference room, two doors and all baseboards. Services provided shall be as follows: o General wall prep, spackle holes and imperfections, sand in lobby and conference room o Furniture relocation to center of room/tarp in lobby and conference room o Furniture relocation to previous position upon completion of all work o Remove and replace existing 5" cove baseboards with adhesive in conference room and lobby o Lobby and conference room walls, apply 1coat of primer and 2 coats of finish color o Lobby doors, apply 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of finish color Paint Specifications o Color: Color o Paint Type: Commercial Grade Flat Pain o Paint offered shall be durable with high resistance to fading, cracking and chalking Upon request, bidders shall submit color and/or paint samples for consideration by the DLBA. Samples provided shall be shades similar to the color specified in the Scope of Work. The DLBA will finalize color selection prior to commencement of work. Contractors must be able to start work on November 29, 2024, and complete work no later than December 1, 2024. Working hours for the period specified shall be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Completed work shall mean: o All painting activities have been concluded and work has been accepted by the DLBA o All areas serviced have been restored to original condition and are available for occupancy and regular use by DLBA staff and visitors. o All equipment, supplies, trash, debris, and contractor equipment has been removed from worksite Refer to Attachment 1 to review the DLBA Floor Plan Refer to Attachment 2 to view photos of the areas to be painted The Contractor is responsible for the proper offsite disposal of all waste, trash, and debris generated as a result of the services performed. No access to dumpsters or trash receptacles onsite will be allowed onsite. Contractor shall take all reasonable measures to minimize dust and debris in and around the work area. The contractor shall provide one (1) quart of touch up paint future touch up work and small repairs.
