The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting delivered pricing for brine generator salt for FY2025 winter season. Bidders are required to provide FOB destination pricing per ton for all individual locations listed on the lines. Please note that this is a different specification than our normal Rock Salt. See Specification and Requirements in the attachment tab. Award All lines will be awarded by individual line locations and must have a cost listed. Zero would be a cost. Contract Period The Successful Supplier(s) shall be awarded a contract beginning upon notice to proceed through May 31, 2025. Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
