Renovation of a residential development in Harrisburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Bath Renovations In accordance with Clause No. 9, Bid Guarantee, of the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to the Saline County Housing Authority, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the PHA will reject the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the Housing Authority all in accordance with Clause No. 10, Assurance of Completion, of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall carefully examine the documents and construction site to obtain firsthand knowledge of the existing condition. Contractors will not be given extra payments for conditions which can be determined by examining the site and documents. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
