Bioretention Basin Improvement Project Question Deadline 11/08/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Questions should be directed in writing to Jennings Bell, Project Civil Engineer, via email to: jennings.bell@decaturga.com Questions Deadline for Posting of Written Answers Wednesday, Nov 13, 2024, 3 pm The City of Decatur will receive sealed bids for the 2024 City of Decatur Huron Street & Champlain Street Bioretention Basin Improvement Project The work of this Contract is shown on the Drawings and may consist of all or some of the following: 1. Furnishing and installing 6-inch and 12-inch diameter storm drain pipe. 2. Furnishing and installing sidewalk flume inlets. 3. Installing stormwater bioretention areas, porous concrete pavement, and pipe by open cut trench excavation. 4. Temporary and permanent erosion and sedimentation control. 5. Traffic control during construction. 6. Right-of-way restoration, including sidewalk and pavement replacement. 7. All associated miscellaneous work, including site restoration and cleanup. B. The Contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals which are reasonable and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not. C. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place and ready for continuous service and shall include repairs, replacements and restoration required as a result of all damages that occur as a result of construction under this contract.
