The Project is located at the intersection of Old Railroad Bed Road, Orvil Smith Road, and Lockhart Road in Madison County, Alabama, and it generally consists of constructing a peanut-style roundabout at the intersection. The Scope of Work to be performed under this Contract includes, demolition, roundabout, truck apron, splitter islands, widening, earthwork, excavation, compaction, grading, curb, slope paving, storm sewer pipe, storm sewer structures, culverts, milling, paving, patching, striping, markings, pavement markers, signing, traffic control, and erosion and sediment control. In the case of inconsistency in the specifications, a bidder will be deemed to have included in its bid the better quality or greater quantity of the work involved unless the bidder asked for and obtained the Owner's written clarification of the requirements before submission of a bid.
