Decc Dredging Project On behalf of the Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA), the City of Duluth is seeking bids for deepening the draft depth along the newly installed seawall behind the DECC, taking the dredged soils to Lot D for dewatering, and stabilizing the material with vegetation. PROJECT LOCATION: 350 Harbor Drive and 1100 West Railroad Street, Duluth, MN PROJECTED START DATE: December 1, 2024, pending permit approval COMPLETION DATE: May 16, 2025 The City of Duluth and DEDA reserve the right to reject any or all bids, split the award or waive informalities, irregularities or minor deviations from the specifications, if deemed to be in the best interests of the DEDA. Price may not be the only consideration for bid award. Bids must be firm for a minimum of 60 days. Bid bonds payable to the Duluth Economic Development Authority in the amount of 5% of the total bid may be emailed to purchasing@duluthmn.gov. Alternately, paper bid bonds, certified checks or bank drafts payable to the Duluth Economic Development Authority may be mailed or dropped off at City Hall, 411 W. 1st Street, Room 120, Duluth, MN 55802. Certified checks or bank drafts may NOT be emailed. Regardless of the method of submission, bid surety must be received by Purchasing prior to the bid opening.
