Site work for a water / sewer project in Concord, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed Work is generally described as follows: Furnish and install approximately 8,000 linear feet of 36-inch fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar (FRPM) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gravity sewer pipe along Back Creek located in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The sewer generally extends from the confluence of Fuda Creek and Back Creek in Cabarrus County to the west of Hickory Ridge Road. The project will include pipeline installation using both open-cut and trenchless methods. The project generally includes, but is not limited to all clearing, grading, pipe, structures (manholes, diversion structure, and metering manhole), erosion control, cleaning, testing, and all other work necessary to furnish, install, test, and place into service the gravity sewer interceptor. Bid security in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid must accompany each Bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will give the Successful Bidder a Notice of Award within the number of days set forth in the Bid Form for acceptance of the Bid.
