Reference Number 0000366715 RRP for professional landscape and architectural design services for improvements to Viohl Park. the Village of West Haverstraw is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms as the basis for entering into a contract through negotiation for professional landscape and architectural design services for improvements to be made at the Village's Viohl Park, located on West Railroad Ave., Garnerville, West Haverstraw, N.Y., all as more fully described in the Request for Proposals. Among the improvements to be made to the park are: A 9' high x 12' wide freestanding mural wall on which a mural celebrating the history of the village can be painted. The proposal should include a recommended structure design at the location, as well as recommendations for the mural wall surface to ensure the longevity final product. (The mural artist and the content of the mural itself will be the subject of a separate RFP) Landscape and other site amenities to include, among other things, park benches, landscape plantings, a sprinkler system, and site-appropriate lighting; A handicap-compliant trail throughout the park and from the park to the nearby Garner Arts Center located east of the park at 55 W.
