Work of this Contract comprises installation of a new generator, new fire water service and, fire pump, new fire alarm system, automatic sprinkler system, firestopping, and interior finishes as required at the Reston Health Centre and Willowview Home Personal Care Home also known as Provincial Fire and Life Safety Project - Reston Health Centre and Willowview Home Personal Care Home. Erection, maintenance and dismantling of Infection Control Preventative Measures shall be within the scope of work and be performed in accordance with CSA 317.13 and the regional infection control policies and procedures. Each bid shall be accompanied with security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total Base Bid Price. The successful Bidder shall promptly provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price covering the performance of the Contract including the requirements of GC 12.3 - Warranty. The successful Bidder shall promptly provide a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price.
