Amounts Subject to Change Due to Demand. Below is the Breakdown by Ward. Tender Can Be Awarded as a Whole or by Wards/special Projects. The Council Reserves Right to Award Contract by Wards in Whole or in Part. Regular Program Ward 3 40 Miles 4800 Yards Ward 4 40 Miles 4800 Yards Ward 5 40 Miles 4800 Yards Ward 6 58 Miles 6960 Yards Special Projects May Dust Control Approximately 50 Locations at 24 Yards Each Throughout Municipality August Dust Control Approximately 35 Locations at 24 Yards Each Throughout Municipality Clay Capping 10 Miles 3360 Yards Throughout Municipality Project is to be completed by July 31, 2024. If the work is not completed by July 31, 2024, or the date allowed by an approved extension in writing, the contractor agrees to pay the Municipality a sum or One Thousand ($1000.00) dollars per calendar day, for each day's delay in finishing the work, as liquidated damages. Should the contractor fail to fulfill the terms of the contract by August 11, 2024, Council of the Municipality shall be entitled to revoke this contract and proceed to complete the works herein.
