Please refer to the Tender package for detailed scope of work and estimated quantities: 1. Strip topsoil and earth excavation to the ultimate bottom of the excavation grade, including stockpiling of excavated materials. 2. Construct Compacted Clay Liners in waste disposal cell and leachate evaporation pond cell, to thickness and hydraulic permeability specified in the design drawings. 3. Construction of granular surface roadways as shown on the design drawings, including drainage ditching. 4. Construction of a Leachate Swale and vertical sump (manhole) for the waste disposal cell , with geotextile, drainage aggregate and HDPE pipe. 5. Place topsoil and seed disturbed areas, drainage swales and outer berm slopes. 6. Miscellaneous work including surveying, manhole installation, regrading of ditches, cell base/sidewall excavation to remove unsuitable material and replacement with clay liner, cell berm excavation and construction, earth and road excavation, and miscellaneous erosion control measures. 7. Provisional work if directed by the Owner/Engineer includes subgrade preparation of an access road south of the landfill/leachate pond, installation of four-strand barbed wire perimeter fence, supply and install of sand-filled (permanent) traffic barriers, supply and assembly of moveable litter fencing.
