1. Base Bid A: Doors, Frames, Hardware Replacement and related work at IL9-6 Maple City Apartments, Geneseo, IL. 2. Base Bid B: Apartment Intercom System Replacement and related work at IL9-6 Maple City Apartments, Geneseo, IL. Project will be constructed under two (2) prime lump-sum contracts. If there are any questions whatsoever regarding any of the Specifications, it shall be the bidder's responsibility to seek clarification immediately from The Housing Authority of Henry County's architect, Kmetz Architects, Inc. at (815) 223-3252. It is strongly encouraged that prospective Contractors be disadvantaged, minority, or women business enterprises and that prospective Contractors seek bids from disadvantaged, minority, and women business enterprises operating in the same geographical area in which the Owner seeks subcontractors and suppliers. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, in the form of a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond, must accompany bids. Selected Bidder will be required to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond covering the full performance of the Contract. Cost of bonds shall be included in the bid amount The Housing Authority of Henry County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding, and to award contract in their best interest. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of Ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of the bid without the consent of The Housing Authority of Henry County.
