Question Deadline 11/13/2024 at 10:00 PM CT It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for a responsible contractor to furnish and install Signage at the Ames DOT located at 800 Lincoln Way, per the attached specifications and drawings. See Lines Tab for details. The Awarded Contractor must field verify all dimensions prior to fabrication and substrates are ready to receive signage or decals. Awarded Contractor must also provide all equipment needed to perform installation and clean up of debris during and after installation. Building will not be occupied during installation. A Bid Bond is not required for this solicitation. The Awarded vendor will be required to provide a Performance Bond as indicated on Attribute #4. Estimated Start Date: December 1, 2024 (Start date to be coordinated with the DOT Project Manager. This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated Completion Date: April 15, 2025. Communication: Until a contract is awarded the sole point of contact for the solicitation is the Purchasing Agent identified in the solicitation. All questions must be directed solely to the Purchasing Agent listed in the bid opportunity. We encourage vendor to upload all questions on or before the question cut off due date and time.
