SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT IS AS FOLLOWS A. The work to be accomplished under this project will be accomplished in one contract which includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment to construct the following components as shown on the Drawings funded as part of the KIA Grant Number 21CWW051 project: 1. Approximately 1,480 L.F. of 12" DIP water line on Luttrell Cemetery Road 2. Approximately 13,975 L.F. of 6" and 4" PVC water line on Segal Road 3. Install flow meter pit adjacent to existing Riverhill BPS and connect to existing piping in BPS (Note: this work component is part of the KIA Grant Number 22CWW060 project) B. This project also includes the furnishing and the installation of all appurtenances as required and shown on the drawings. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount equal to Five percent (5%) of the bid to ensure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Edmonson County Water District within ten (10) days after the time he has been noticed of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
