Site work and paving for a civil project in Oldfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Sawmill Hollow Low Water Crossings Project includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, clearing, grubbing, demolition, unclassified excavation, and embankment in place. The project also entails the construction of 6" bituminous pavement consisting of a 4" base and 2" surface, placement of 2" compacted 3/4" crushed aggregate and 4" compacted 1-1/2" base rock. Additionally, the work includes the installation of an 8" PCC low water crossing, 12", 15", and 24" corrugated metal pipes with corresponding end sections, and type 3 rock ditch liner. Further tasks involve relocating mailboxes, permanent signing, seeding with biodegradable straw mat, and installation of ditch checks. Detailed quantities and specifications are provided in the bid documents. Pre-Bid A Pre-Bid meeting for this project will not be held. Each Bidder shall file with their bid a cashiers check, certified check, or bid bond drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid Bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders, with the exception of the second qualifying bidder, at such time as their bids are rejected. The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder, but Christian County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids.
