Renovation of a residential development in Macclenny, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of December 17, 2024, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. We are not sure if we will negotiate or rebid the project. The project consists of repairs and restoration of the building's roof, porch, and structural pier supports. There is termite damage apparent on the existing structure, as well as localized crushing and settlement of logs supporting the building at grade, as well as other structural deficiencies as outlined in the bid documents. Bid Guarantee: Bid Bond for 5% of bid total made payable to "City of Macclenny". General Contractors may distribute plans and specifications to subcontractors at their discretion. Note that General contractors are responsible for distributing to their subcontractors any addenda or clarifications that are issued in response to questions submitted during the bid process. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid and to accept any bid which they consider to be in their best interest and to reject any and all bids.
