Renovation of a municipal facility in Salem, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Filed Sub-Bids are required for the following categories: Masonry, Miscellaneous Metals, Waterproofing, Roofing & Flashing, Painting, and Electrical. The building is listed in the State and National Register of Historic Places and the project is being partially funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund though the Massachusetts Historical Commission. All work must be performed in compliance with the "Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties." Estimated cost of construction is approximately $1.7M. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids, to waive any informality, or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the City.
