Site work and paving for a water / sewer project in Coleman, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of approximately one thousand three hundred linear feet (1,300 LF) of drainage improvements along 5th Avenue, including the reconstruction of concrete channel, guard fence, culverts, headwalls, and related street, curb and gutter repair. Also included are improvements to approximately one thousand two hundred linear feet (1,200 LF) of earthen channel extending between Martin Street and 5th Avenue. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors/subcontractors that are that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. The lobbying certification must be submitted with the bid packet to be considered complete and responsive. The City of Coleman is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Each interpretation made will be in the form of an Addendum to the contract documents and will be distributed to all parties holding contract documents no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening
