The successful Proposer shall be responsible for providing solid waste disposal services and the specified dumpster, collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste materials generated at each designated location. Additionally, a clean area around the dumpster(s) shall be maintained and debris created as a result of the collection activity shall be picked up and disposed of on a regularly scheduled basis. The successful Proposer must be able to respond to irregularities in waste generation and shall respond within 24 hours to any unforeseen/special pick-ups requested by the Parish. The term of the contract will be from the date the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Parish through December 31, 2025, with the option of four (4) additional one (1) year renewals, if the Parish and Contractor agree. A notice of intent to renew would be issued in writing by the Parish. Issuance of this RFP in no way constitutes a commitment by the Parish to award a contract. The Parish reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted or to cancel this RFP if it is in the best interest of the Parish to do so.
