Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the replacement of existing 8" water main with 12" PVC water main. Installation of new PVC water main (4", 6", 8" and 12"), fittings, water services, valve vaults, valve boxes, and fire hydrants. Restoration of PCC sidewalk, curb and gutter, Class C pavement patching, and other associated work to make the project complete. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in the form of an electronic bid bond payable to The City of Lake Forest. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish either both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the City for 100 percent of the Contract Price, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or award each schedule individually, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the Bid which best serves the interests of the City The City of Lake Forest project manager is Bernard Pondexter and can be contacted at (847) 810-3556 or by email at pondextb@cityoflakeforest.com regarding the project.
